How does the PehnAI Dashboard work?

The Dashboard is the main control centre for PehnAI. It shows your setup progress, lets you turn Try It On on or off, choose where it appears, and monitor Try-On performance at a glance.

Get Started with PehnAI

When you first install PehnAI, a setup checklist appears at the top of the Dashboard.

The checklist helps you complete the required steps to launch Virtual Try-On in your storefront.

A progress bar and step counter show your setup progress. Each step displays an action button when it needs attention and a green checkmark when it is complete.

Choose × to close the checklist. It will reappear until all four steps are complete.

Step 1 - Enable PehnAI

Choose Enable PehnAI.

This turns on Try It On for your selected products.

Step 2 - Activate the App Embed

Choose Activate app embed.

This enables the PehnAI app embed in your published theme so product pages can load Virtual Try-On.

Step 3 - Add the Try It On Button

Choose Add Try It On button.

Place the PehnAI product block in your product template where shoppers can easily find it, then save your theme.

Step 4 - Configure a Product and Test

Choose Configure products.

Enable a supported product, then open its storefront page and complete a Try On to verify that your setup is working correctly.

Storefront Setup

The Storefront setup section controls where and how Try It On appears in your store.

Turn On PehnAI

Toggle Turn on PehnAI to make Try It On available for your selected products.

When enabled, the description shows:

Turn on PehnAI to let shoppers use Try It On.

Why Turn It On?

Turning on PehnAI:

• Gives shoppers a more personal way to explore clothing products.
• Helps shoppers feel more confident before adding an item to their cart.
• Lets you review Try-On activity and product interest.

Pause Try It On

Turn PehnAI off to pause Try It On across your store.

This can be useful during:

• Theme updates
• Store maintenance
• Campaign changes

Turning it off does not remove your product selections, past Try Ons, reports, or settings.

Mobile and Desktop

When PehnAI is enabled, Mobile and Desktop toggles appear.

Turn on Mobile to show Try It On on phones and tablets.

Turn on Desktop to show Try It On on computers.

You can turn either option off if you want Try It On to appear only on the other device type.

Add to Your Theme

The Add to your theme section shows the current PehnAI app embed status and an Open theme editor button.

The status shows Available when the theme is ready but the PehnAI app embed has not been activated.

The status changes to Active after the app embed is enabled.

Add a Product Button

Choose Add button to open the theme editor and place the Try It On button on your product page.

The status shows Available when the button has not yet been added.

Try-On Performance

The Dashboard provides an overview of your Try-On performance.

Total try-ons

Shows all Try-On requests started by shoppers.

Successful try-ons

Shows Try-Ons that completed successfully and generated a preview.

Failed try-ons

Shows Try-Ons that could not be completed.

Unique shoppers

Shows the number of individual shoppers who started a Try On.

Completed try-ons

Shows completed Try-Ons that count toward your plan limit.
