  • What is the Cart Notification feature?

Cart Notification feature will display notifications as and when somebody adds a product to their cart on your website. So if your website doesn’t have any sales/orders, the Cart Notification feature will help you to make your website looks busy and it’s another social proof.

  • How do Sales Notifications & Cart Notifications increase my sales?

Sites who have Sales Notifications & Cart Notifications turned on typically see a 6% to 8% increase in conversion for traffic on the page. This is attributed to quickly showing the potential buyer trust of your site and allowing them to see popular products purchased in real-time and motivate them to order the same.

  • Why my Sales Notifications are not showing?

Well, There may be one of the below reason.

1. You have disabled the Sales Notification app.

2. It may be because you have recently created a new store which doesn’t have any orders yet. So we suggest you should wait until you receive one or more orders and the Sales Notification app will start showing pop-ups automatically 🙂

  • What if I don’t have enough orders in my store?

No Problem, You are always able to show repeated products for the same orders on Sales Notification by enabling “Display the same products”. If you want then just hide the time ago part so your customers will see repeat products for the same orders with no time. You can also use the “Cart Notification” feature to create Sales Notifications for add to cart events.

  • How do I know if Sales Notifications & Cart Notifications are working for me?

There have been many studies that show that humans like to mimic other human behavior. Sales Notifications & Cart Notifications offers a unique glance into what other users are doing that can provide the confidence and motivation to purchase from your site. A good way to compare the effective conversion rate increase would be an A/B test of 15 days running the Sales Notification app and 15 days without the Sales Notification app to see what conversions have increased.

  • Can I create my own custom notifications with the Sales Notification app?

As per Shopify’s new partner policies, we do not allow the creation of custom sales notifications on your site/store. All Sales Notification apps must adhere to this strict standard set by Shopify.

  • Is it possible to add offline manual orders? Will Sales Notification consider offline manual orders?

Yes, If you have received offline manual order from your customer then you can create it from your store Shopify admin and Sales Notification will capture that ordered product(s) automatically and start displaying pop-ups in your store 🙂

  • I don’t want to show some products in Sales Notification popups. How do I do that?

Please go to Sales Notification App -> Click on the ‘Sales Notification’ menu at the left side -> Click on the ‘Exclude Products’ tab -> Add a product(s) that you want to disable/exclude from the Sales Notification app.

  • I don’t want to show some orders products in Sales Notification pop-ups. How do I do that?

Please go to Sales Notification App -> Click on ‘Sales Notification’ menu at the left side -> Click on ‘Exclude Orders’ tab -> Press Delete icon from the list of orders that you want to disable/exclude from the Sales Notification app(Don’t worry, this process will never delete your orders).

  • Does the Sales Notification app require any custom development?

Nope, the Sales Notification app is straightforward. Simply install the app and you can see your sales notifications popups will begin.

  • How to remove the ‘verified by MakeProSimp’ signature on Sales Notifications?

Adding the signature on the notifications is actually required by the developers for copyright protection. However, you are easily able to remove/disable it by going to the Sales Notification App -> Click on ‘Sales Notification’ menu at the left side -> Click on ‘Other Settings’ tab -> Check ‘Remove “verified by MakeProSimp”‘ box -> Press the Save button.   • How do I cancel my Sales Notification App paid subscription?

You will need to click on the ‘Select’ button of the ‘Free’ plan in the Sales Notification App -> Plans page to cancel your paid subscription at any time.

  • How do I uninstall the Sales Notification app?

Simply remove the app from your Shopify store. All code will be removed.

  • Can I customize the template design of the Sales notification popup?

So sorry but no, you cannot customize the design of the sales notification popup because there is some default variable is required to display sales order so it cannot be removed.

  • Can I change the language in the sales notification app?

So sorry but no, you cannot change the language of the sales notification app but you can change the language of the message displayed in the pop-up.

  • What is the delay between notifications?

It is the time interval or gap between two notifications.

  • How to hide time ago in sales popup?

You can hide the time ago part by going to the Sales Notification -> Basic settings -> Other Settings and set value 0 (Zero) to Hide time ago part.

  • What is display the same product on the product page?

You can set this option for better sales. By checked it, a popup will display continuously the orders of the same product on the same page until the product is not added to the cart. Once the product is added to the cart, the popups of other products will start to display and stop the popups for the same product.

  • Can I change the size of the popup?

No, you cannot change the size of the popup. But you can change the style/design of the popup by going to Sales Notification -> Design Setting -> Choose Design -> Change Design.

  • Can the app make website loading speed slow?

As we are using the Shopify API script tag, so our code will be added at last when your page content is loaded. So due to the Shopify API script tag, our app will not affect the speed of page loading.

  • What is {{ line_price }} variable in Cart Notification feature?

{{ line_price }} is the price of the line (the actual price of the one product * quantities of that product = line price of that product).

  • Can I hide the order after some days?

Yes, you can hide orders after some days by going to the Sales notification -> Basic Settings -> Other Settings -> Hide order after. Here you can hide the time ago part by giving the values in seconds or minutes or hours or days. It means e.g. you enter 30 days then up to only 30 days ago part will display in a popup after 30 days it will be hidden.

  • Can I set a maximum popup display frequency per page?

Yes, you can set the maximum popup display frequency per page by going to the Sales notification -> Basic Settings -> Other Settings -> Maximum display per page.

  • Can I change the color of time ago part of the popup?

Yes, you can change the color of time ago part of the popup by going to the Sales Notification -> Design Setting -> Personalization -> Time ago color.

  • How can I choose an animation for popup?

You can choose animation for popup by go to the Sales notification -> Design Setting -> Notification Position -> Animation Type.

  • Can I disable popup for a specific page?

Yes, you can disable popup for a specific page by going to the Sales Notification -> Other Settings -> Disable Notifications and either select from the available option or write the link in the meta tag.

  • In which sequence the popup is displayed? And can I display popup randomly?

The app will display the popup from the most recent orders to old orders. And yes, you can display the popup randomly by going to the Sales Notification -> Other Settings -> Miscellaneous Options -> Select Randomly Display Product.

  • Can I close the notification popup? If yes then how?

Yes, you can close the notification popup. For that by going to the Sales Notification -> Other Settings -> Select Allow Close notification.

  • How can I prevent the specific product to display in the popup?

You can prevent the specific product to display in a popup by going to the Sales Notification-> Exclude Products -> Add New Product.

  • How can I exclude orders?

You can exclude orders by going to the Sales Notification -> Exclude Orders andClick on the icon available at the right side for the order that you want to exclude.

  • Can I display or exclude a popup for the product which is out of stock?

Yes, you can display or exclude a popup for the product which is out of stock by going to the Sales Notification -> Other Settings and select or deselect Display Out Of Stock Products option.

  • Can I track what amount of information’s that visitors clicked?

Yes, you track what the amount of information’s that visitors clicked by going to the Sales Notification -> Other Settings -> Select Enable UTM Params. By selecting that when the link is clicked, the tags are sent back to Google Analytics and tracked.

  • If I disable the cart notification, is it display sales notification popup?

Yes, if you disable the cart notification then it will display sales notification.

  • Can I set the popup display time on the store?

Yes, you can set the popup display time on the store by going to the Sales Notification -> Basic Setting -> Other Settings -> Display time.

  • Can I set the language for time ago of sales notification popup?

Yes, you can set a language for the time ago of sales notification popup by going to the Sales notification -> Template -> Click on Show Time Ago Language Settings(Optional).
