How do the Advanced Settings work in Out Of Stock reminders in notim app?



Additional Inventory Warning Levels for Products and Variants





If you'd like to add Additional Inventory Warning Level(s) for specific products and variants in your store, you can do so using this option. Just make sure that the Inventory tracking for specific products and variants setting is disabled before proceeding.

To add products for Additional Inventory Warning Levels for Products and Variants, follow these steps:

Step - 1





You need to add the product(s) you want to track with Additional Inventory Warning Level(s) alongside the Global Inventory Warning Level(s). Notim.app will monitor these products, and whenever their inventory falls below either the Global Inventory Warning Level(s) or Additional Inventory Warning Level(s), you will be notified via email.

To add a new warning level under the Additional Inventory Warning Levels for specific products or variants, simply click the arrow in the Warning Level column for the desired item. To remove an existing warning level, click the close icon next to it. If you need to update the inventory level, first remove the old warning level and then add the new one. Make any adjustments as needed and click the Save button to apply your changes.

To track individual products or variants additionally along with globally, click the Add New Additional Product button. Then, select a product from the list or search for it by entering its name, variant, or SKU in the search box.

Step - 2





Find from the list or enter the product name you wish to track in the designated search box provided. This will allow you to locate the specific product quickly. Once the product appears in the list, you can select it to configure its tracking settings and manage inventory details. Just press the Add button to add the product for tracking under the Additional Inventory Warning Levels.

Step - 3





After adding a product, it will appear in the Additional Inventory Warning Levels for Products and Variants list. Here, you can manage warning levels for each product by adding or removing them as needed. Depending on your selected plan, you can set up to 5 warning levels for an individual product.

The Notim app also provides an Auto Restock feature, enabling automatic inventory replenishment. When your products or variants fall below the specified inventory warning levels, this feature allows the inventory to be restocked automatically after a specified period with a defined quantity.

A Restock Quantity of 0 (zero) disables automatic restocking for the product.
A Restock Quantity Update After value of 0 (zero) means the product will be restocked immediately.

Additionally, you can add supplier details by providing the Supplier Name, Supplier Phone Number, and the Maximum Reorder Level Allowed Quantity. The quantity entered in the reorder level box will define the maximum quantity allowed for reorder, ensuring that no more than the specified amount is permitted. Once you’ve entered the details, click the Save button to finalize your changes.

If you decide to remove a product from the additional tracking list, simply click the icon in the Action column to remove it from the tray effortlessly.

Specific Inventory Warning Levels for Products and Variants





If you'd like to add Specific Inventory Warning Level(s) for specific products and variants in your store, you can do so using this option. Just make sure that the Inventory tracking for specific products and variants setting is enabled before proceeding.

But please note if you enable the Specific Inventory Warning Level(s) for specific products and variants then notim app will SKIP both Global Inventory Warning Level(s) and Additional Inventory Warning Level(s) and will only notify you from email for Specific Products/Variants ONLY that you have added in this section.

To add products for Specific Inventory Warning Levels for Products and Variants, follow these steps:

Step - 1





You need to add the product(s) you want to track using Specific Inventory Warning Level(s) only. Once added, notim.app will monitor these specified products and notify you via email notifications (if enabled) whenever their inventory falls below the defined Specific Inventory Warning Level(s). Enabling this option means notim.app will bypass tracking all other products and variants against your Global Inventory Warning Level(s) and Additional Inventory Warning Level(s). Instead, it will exclusively focus on the products and variants with Specific Inventory Warning Level(s) that you have configured.

To add a new warning level under the Specific Inventory Warning Levels for specific products or variants, simply click the arrow in the Warning Level column for the desired item. To remove an existing warning level, click the close icon next to it. If you need to update the inventory level, first remove the old warning level and then add the new one. Make any adjustments as needed and click the Save button to apply your changes.

Import



The notim app offers a convenient import feature for CSV sheets, allowing you to efficiently manage the list of products for Specific Inventory Warning Levels for Products and Variants. Let’s explore the details together!



Before using the Import feature, make sure you have enabled the Inventory tracking for specific products and variants option. This will ensure that the imported products are accurately tracked based on your specific settings for inventory management.

To effortlessly import your list of products for specific product tracking, simply click on the Import button. This will allow you to upload your CSV file and streamline the process of managing your inventory.



Upon clicking the Import button, a popup will appear, prompting you to upload your CSV file. (Refer to the snapshot above for guidance.)

Please note that the CSV file must follow a specific format for a successful import. If you're unsure about the format, you can download a sample CSV file from the popup for reference.

Things to keep in mind before importing:
The imported CSV file must be comma-separated; tab-separated files will not be accepted.
Importing the file will overwrite the existing data. To add new data to the existing list, follow these steps:
+ Export the current list (if you already have data) to a CSV file.
+ Append or update the required data in the CSV file.
+ Import the modified CSV file back into the app to incorporate the changes.
For backup purposes, we highly recommend exporting the current list before importing the new one. This ensures you have a copy of the original data in case any issues arise during the import process.

Once you have selected the file, simply click on the Import button. Afterward, please check your email for a confirmation notification indicating that the CSV upload was successful. In case any issues arise during the upload process, you will be notified via email with details on the error.

After receiving the confirmation email, go to the configuration page and reload it to view the complete list of added products.
Important considerations when preparing the CSV file:
Ensure that the first row of the CSV file contains the pre-defined headers.
The columns marked as "Optional" are not mandatory, while the others are compulsory fields.
If you leave the compulsory field(s) blank, the app will skip the product from the tracking list.

Export



The notim app offers a convenient export feature for CSV sheets, making it easy to manage your list of products for Specific Product Tracking. Let's explore how you can use this feature effectively!



Before using the Export feature, make sure the Inventory tracking for specific products and variants option is enabled. This ensures that only the selected products are included in the export.

To export a list of products for specific product tracking, simply click on the Export button. This will generate a CSV file containing the selected product details.



Upon clicking the Export button, a popup will appear, requesting you to provide an email address where you would like to receive the product list in CSV format. (Please refer to the snapshot above for guidance.)
