How Does the Custom Email Domain Setup Work in the Notim App?
The Custom Email Domain feature in the Notim app allows you to send back-in-stock alert emails using your own email domain (e.g., back-in-stock@notim.yourstore.com) instead of the default Notim app’s email domain. This helps improve your brand identity and email deliverability.
Once you configure and verify your custom domain, the app will send all back-in-stock alert emails using your chosen email domain instead of the default Notim app’s email domain. This creates a seamless brand experience and increases trust with your customers.

Strengthen brand recognition and customer trust
Build credibility by using a professional email address
Open the Notim app from your Shopify admin.

In the left-hand menu, click Settings.

Select Custom Email Domain Setup.

Enter the domain you want to use (e.g., yourstore.com) and click Save.

You'll receive a list of DNS records (Type, Host, Value) that need to be added to your domain provider.

Add these DNS records to your domain provider's settings.

Go to the DNS section and click Records. [Refer to step 1 in the image below]
Click Add Record. [Refer to step 2 in the image below]
Choose the appropriate Type, then enter the Name and Target (Value). [Refer to step 3 in the image below]
Click Save. [Refer to step 4 in the image below]
You will find the list of added records. [Refer to step 5 in the image below]

Note: If you're using a different domain (DNS) provider, we recommend referring to their official documentation for instructions on adding DNS records. Still need help? Contact our support team by clicking the “Chat with us” button below or email us at support@makeprosimp.com .
After adding the records, return to the Notim app and click Verify to confirm the setup.

Once verified, you'll receive confirmation. Your emails will now be sent using your custom domain, improving email deliverability.
