How do the Basic Settings work in Out Of Stock reminders in notim app?

General Settings

Emails

You must specify the email(s) where you want to receive inventory reminders whenever your products (and variants) fall below the Global Inventory Warning Levels. Depending on your selected plan, you can use up to 5 email addresses.

Note: If you are not receiving email notifications in your inbox for your Out Of Stock products, please check your spam folder and mark us as not spam, and please add reminder@notify-me.makeprosimp.com email to your mail contact list and you should receive emails in your inbox instead of the spam folder.

Email Notification Frequency

You need to select how frequently you'd like to receive email reminders when your products (and variants) fall below the Global Inventory Warning Levels. The Notim app will ensure that no repeat emails are sent for the same product. Once you receive an email for a product, you won't get another reminder for it until it is restocked in your Shopify Admin Product section, even if it goes out of stock again.

Inventory Alert Settings

Global Inventory Warning Levels

You need to specify the Inventory Warning Level(s) to let the notim app know when to send reminders. The Level should be entered in number format, and depending on your selected plan, you can add up to 5 Global Inventory Warning Levels.

Global Inventory Restock

Ensure that the Global Inventory Restock status is enabled to restock your store's out-of-stock products automatically through the notim app. The app will restock automatically when their inventory drops below warning levels.

Notim app offers a feature called Global Inventory Restock for automatic restocking. When your products or variants fall below the Inventory Warning Levels you’ve set in the notim app settings, you can automatically restock inventory after a specific duration and by a set quantity. This feature allows for seamless inventory management and ensures your stock levels are maintained without manual intervention.

You can restock the same way with Additional Inventory Warning Levels and/or Specific Inventory Warning Levels where we have given the option with “Restock Info” for each product/variant.

Email Display Preferences & Additional Settings (Optional)

Update inventory via email?: Enabling this setting allows you to update your out-of-stock product inventory directly from email reminders. This means you won’t need to log in to your Shopify Store Admin or visit the product page to restock it. With just one click from the email reminder, you can easily modify your out-of-stock product inventory.

Include SKU in email?: Enabling this setting will display the out-of-stock product name along with the SKU in the inventory reminder emails sent by the notim app when your products (and variants) fall below the global inventory warning levels. If the SKU is not provided, it will be hidden from the reminder emails.

Include price in email?: Enabling this setting will display the out-of-stock product price in the inventory reminder emails sent by notim.app. This helps you quickly see the price of products that are low in stock or out of stock. If you choose not to include the price, it will be omitted from the reminder emails.

Include vendor in email?: Similar to the SKU, enabling this setting will show the vendor name alongside the product name in the inventory reminder emails. However, please ensure that you have entered the vendor names when creating products in your Shopify Admin. If the vendor name is not provided, it will be hidden from the inventory reminder emails.

Include product tags in email?: Enabling this option will display the product tags in the inventory reminder emails. This helps you easily identify and organize products based on their tags directly from the email.

Email reminder subject line: If you'd like to set a custom subject line for your email reminders, simply enter your preferred text in the provided box. This option is for your convenience, and if you leave it blank, the notim.app will use the default subject line when sending your email reminders.
