# How to manage Try-On Images for a product?

Use the **Try-On Image** page to control which product images PehnAI uses for virtual Try-Ons and test the selected image before shoppers use it.

## Open Try-On Image

1. Open **PehnAI → Products**.
2. Find the product you want to configure.
3. In the **Try-On Image** column, click **Review Image options**.
4. The **Try-On Image** page opens.

## PehnAI Image Selection

PehnAI automatically selects the best available product or variant image for the Try-On.

If the automatically selected image is not the best garment image, you can choose a different Shopify product image.

### Change the Selected Image

1. Go to **PehnAI Image selection**.
2. Review the automatically selected image.
3. If needed, click **Upload custom Image** or choose another available Shopify image.
4. Select the image you want PehnAI to use.

### Restore Automatic Selection

If you have manually selected an image and want PehnAI to select the image automatically again, click **Restore automatic selection**.

## Advanced: Variant-Specific Images

Use **Advanced: variant-specific images** when a product has different images for individual variants.

You can configure a specific garment image for each variant.

### Configure a Variant Image

1. Open **Advanced: variant-specific images**.
2. Select the variant you want to configure.
3. Review the available images for that variant.
4. Select the appropriate garment image.
5. If needed, click **Upload custom image** to use a custom image.
6. Use **Restore automatic selection** to return to automatic image selection for that variant.

The selected image applies only to the chosen variant.

## Test this Try-On Image

Before using the selected image for shoppers, you can test how it works with a shopper photo.

1. Go to **Test this Try-On image**.
2. Click **Upload shopper photo and test**.
3. Upload a shopper photo.
4. Generate the Try-On preview.
5. Review the generated result.

A completed test uses **one Try-On credit** and is excluded from shopper analytics.

After uploading a shopper photo, generate the preview to check how the selected product image works for the Try-On.

Review the generated result and make changes to the selected image if needed.

## Best Practices

For better Try-On results:

* Use a clear, high-quality garment image.
* Choose an image where the clothing is clearly visible.
* Use a suitable image for each product variant.
* Use **variant-specific images** when different variants have different colours or garment designs.
* If PehnAI's automatic selection is not suitable, manually choose a better Shopify image or upload a custom image.
