# How to Configure Twilio SMS in Notim for Back in Stock Notifications

## Twilio SMS Setup

Twilio is a cloud communication platform that allows businesses to send SMS messages to customers worldwide. In Notim, you can connect your Twilio account and use it to automatically send Back in Stock SMS notifications whenever subscribed products or variants become available again.

## Configure Twilio in Notim

After selecting Twilio as your **SMS** provider, enter the required credentials in the following fields to connect your Twilio account with Notim.

## Before You Start

Before configuring Twilio in Notim, make sure that:
* You have an active Twilio account.
* Your Twilio account is verified and can send SMS messages.
* You have access to the **Twilio Console Dashboard**.
* You have your **Account SID** and **Auth Token**.
* You have either a **Twilio Phone Number** or a **Messaging Service SID** for sending SMS messages.

## Twilio Account SID

The Twilio Account SID is a unique identifier for your Twilio account. It is required to connect your Twilio account with Notim.

### How to Find the Twilio Account SID

1. Sign in to your Twilio account.
2. Open the Twilio Console Dashboard.
3. Locate the Account Info section.
4. Copy the Account SID.

Paste the copied value into the Twilio Account SID field in Notim.

### Important Notes

* Required to connect your Twilio account with Notim.
* Must be copied exactly as shown in your Twilio Console.
* Incorrect values may prevent SMS delivery.

## Twilio Auth Token

The Twilio Auth Token is a secret key that authenticates communication between Notim and Twilio.

1. Sign in to your Twilio account.
2. Open the Twilio Console Dashboard.
3. Locate the Auth Token in the Account Info section.
4. Click Show and copy the token.

Paste the copied value into the Twilio Auth Token field in Notim.

### Important Notes

* Used to securely authenticate requests between Notim and Twilio.
* Must match the provided Account SID.
* Keep this value confidential and do not share it publicly.
* If the Auth Token is regenerated, update it in Notim.

## Twilio From Number or Messaging Service SID

The **Twilio From Number** or **Messaging Service SID** determines which sender is used to deliver SMS notifications.

You can use either:

### Twilio Phone Number

A Twilio phone number purchased from Twilio that supports SMS messaging.

**Example**: +15551234567

### Messaging Service SID

A Messaging Service SID allows you to manage one or more phone numbers through a single messaging service.

**Example**: MGXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

**Note**: Messaging Service SIDs typically begin with MG.

### How to Get a Twilio Phone Number

1. Sign in to your **Twilio account**.
2. Open **Phone Numbers** from the Twilio Console.
3. Purchase or select an SMS-enabled Twilio phone number.
4. Copy the phone number.

### How to Get a Messaging Service SID

1. Sign in to your **Twilio account**.
2. Open **Messaging** from the Twilio Console.
3. Create a new Messaging Service or select an existing one.
4. Copy the **Messaging Service SID**.

Enter either the Twilio phone number or the Messaging Service SID into the **Twilio From Number or Messaging Service SID** field in Notim.

### Important Notes

* You can use either a Twilio phone number or a Messaging Service SID.
* Ensure the selected sender supports SMS messaging.
* Using a Messaging Service SID is recommended if you manage multiple phone numbers or require advanced messaging features.

## Save Settings

After entering all required information:

1. Verify that all credentials are entered correctly.
2. Ensure that your Twilio account is active and can send SMS messages.
3. Click Save.

Once saved and enabled, Notim will automatically send Back in Stock SMS notifications through Twilio whenever subscribed products or variants become available again.
