# How to Configure Google Product Data

Google Product Data allows you to manually configure Google Merchant Center attributes for an individual product or variant.

These attributes provide additional product information that can be used when generating the Google Merchant Center feed.

Open it from:

**Feed Projects → Actions → Attributes → View Attributes**

## Google Product Category

Search by:

* Category name
* Google category ID

Select the appropriate Google Product Category.

The Google Product Category is separate from your Shopify product type.

## Age Group

Configure the applicable age group for the product.

Select the value that best matches the intended age group of the product.

## Gender

Configure the applicable gender value.

Select the appropriate value based on the product.

## Condition

Configure the applicable product condition.

Use the value that accurately represents the condition of the product.

## Color

Enter the product color.

**Character limit:** 100 characters.

Enter the color that accurately describes the product or variant.

---

## Material

Enter the primary product material.

**Character limit:** 200 characters.

Use the material information that best describes the product.

---

## MPN

Enter the Manufacturer Part Number.

**Character limit:** 70 characters.

MPN is different from the Shopify SKU.

Use the manufacturer's part number when it is available for the product.

## Pattern

Enter the product pattern where applicable.

**Character limit:** 100 characters.

This can be used to describe the product's pattern or design.

## Size

Enter the applicable product or variant size.

**Character limit:** 100 characters.

For products with variants, enter the size that applies to the selected variant.

## Size Type

Configure the applicable size type.

Select the size type that matches the product.

## Size System

Configure the applicable size system.

Examples:

* US
* UK
* EU
* AU

Select the size system that corresponds to the configured product size.

## Energy Efficiency

Where applicable, configure:

* Energy Efficiency Class
* Minimum Energy Efficiency Class
* Maximum Energy Efficiency Class

Only configure these fields when they apply to the product.

## Google Custom Labels

Feedomix provides five custom-label fields:

* Custom Label 0
* Custom Label 1
* Custom Label 2
* Custom Label 3
* Custom Label 4

Each custom label supports up to **100 characters**.

Custom labels are optional and can be used to add additional product grouping or classification information.

### Example Values

* Best Seller
* New Arrival
* Clearance
* Seasonal
* High Margin
* Promotion

## Save Product Data

After configuring the applicable fields:

1. Review the values.
2. Save the changes.
3. Generate the feed again when you want the updated information included in the generated feed.

Only configure values that accurately describe the product.

The saved Google Product Data is used when the Feed Project generates the product feed.
