How to Add a Countdown Timer to a Custom Position Using the 'Embedded Block' Feature?
Want to create urgency exactly where it matters on your Shopify store? With the 'Embedded Block' feature, you can place Countdown Timer (using the ToastiBar app) in custom positions across your store — giving you full control over how and where urgency appears, whether it’s on product pages, homepages, collection pages, or more.
Here’s an example of a Product Page Timer — you can fully customize the position of this and other countdown timers to match your store’s layout and design preferences.
In your Shopify Admin, open the ToastiBar app.
Go to Countdown Timer → Product Page Timer → Placements → Select Products.
Select the Custom Position option for the countdown timer.
Select the Timer ID.
Go to your Shopify Admin.
Navigate to Online Store → Themes.
Find your current theme and click Customize.
In the theme editor, open the top dropdown menu.
Select Products.
Choose the specific product template you want to edit.
In the Shopify theme editor, find the Product Information section in the left sidebar.
Click Add block.
Go to the Apps tab.
Select the Countdown Timer (ToastiBar) block.
Drag and drop it to your desired position within the product details.
Click the newly added Countdown Timer block to open its settings.
Paste the Timer ID from the ToastiBar App → Countdown Timer.
Click Save to apply the changes.
That’s it! Your custom-positioned countdown timer will now appear on your product page, encouraging urgency and boosting conversions.
