How does the Quick Buy Me Widget work in the Buy Me app?

The Quick Buy Me Widget is an Add-on designed to streamline the shopping experience for your customers. This feature places a small Cart icon on product images across various product listing pages such as Home Page, Collection Pages, and Recommended Products Listing.

Customers can directly add products to the cart without visiting the product page, reducing friction in the buying process. This helps in minimizing cart abandonment and speeding up checkout by redirecting customers to either the Cart Page or Checkout Page.

Status

The Quick Buy Me Widget is a flexible Add-on that allows merchants to enable the Cart icon on product listing pages for Desktop and/or Mobile.

• Enable for Desktop: Display the Quick Buy Me icon on product images for desktop users.
• Enable for Mobile: Show the Quick Buy Me icon on product images for mobile users.

This allows store owners to control where the Quick Buy Me icon appears based on their preferences.

Note:

• You can enable it for both Desktop and Mobile or only one platform as per your requirement.
• Make sure to press the Save button after making any changes.

Position, Action & Colors

The Quick Buy Me Widget helps enhance the shopping experience by allowing customers to add products to the cart directly from the product listing pages. Below are the available settings for customization:

Quick Buy Position: Choose where to display the Quick Buy Me Icon on your product listing pages. You can place it in one of four positions: Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, or Bottom Right.

Quick Buy Me z-index Position (Optional): If your Quick Buy Me widget icon is hidden behind the product image, adjust its z-index value to bring it to the front. Be sure to click Save after making changes.

Quick Buy Action (After Click): Decide where to redirect customers after they click the Quick Buy Me Cart icon. You have three options:

• Stay on the same page: The product is added to the cart, allowing customers to continue shopping without leaving the page.
• Go to Cart: Customers are redirected to the Cart page after adding a product.
• Go to Checkout: Customers are taken directly to checkout, skipping the cart page.

Note: This can help reduce cart abandonment but may not be ideal if you're using a Shopify discount app that applies discounts on the Cart page. If unsure, feel free to reach out via our in-app chat or email.

Quick Buy Cart Icon Color: Customize the Quick Buy Cart icon color using the provided color picker.

Quick Buy Me Background Color: Select a background color for the Quick Buy Cart icon using the color picker.

Quick Buy Variant Color: Choose a color for product variants displayed in the Quick Buy Cart using the color picker.

Display Variant Images: This setting allows you to control whether product variants appear with images. If enabled, the app will display variants along with their respective images, and if no variant image is available, the main product image will be shown instead. If disabled, variants will be displayed without images. Be sure to click Save after making any changes.

Display on Out of Stock Products: You can choose whether to display the Quick Buy Me Widget icon on out-of-stock products. If enabled, the icon will appear on products that are out of stock. If disabled, the icon will not be displayed for out-of-stock products. Remember to click Save after making any changes.

Quantity

The Quantity option in the Quick Buy Me Widget allows customers to select how many items they want to add to the cart directly from product listing pages. By default, this feature is disabled, but you can enable it anytime from: Buy Me App → Widgets → Quick Buy Me Widget → Quantity

Quantity Enable?

Turn this option ON to allow customers to select multiple quantities before adding a product to the cart using the Quick Buy Me icon. If disabled, customers will add only one item per click.

Quantity Box Display Style

When the Quantity option is enabled, you can choose how the quantity selector appears:

• Inline

Displays the quantity box directly next to the Quick Buy Me icon on the product listing page. Customers can quickly adjust the quantity without leaving the page.

• Popup

Opens a pop-up window when customers click the Quick Buy Me icon, allowing them to enter or adjust the quantity in a dedicated input field.

Choose the style that best matches your store’s design and user experience preference.

Quantity Settings

You can further control how quantity behaves using the following options:

• Default Quantity

Set the number that will be pre-filled when the widget loads.

Example: If set to 1, the quantity will default to 1 item.

• Quantity Step

Define how much the quantity increases or decreases when customers use the + / – buttons.

Example:

Step = 1 → 1, 2, 3, 4…

Step = 2 → 2, 4, 6, 8…

• Maximum Quantity

Set the maximum number of items a customer can purchase through the Quick Buy Me Widget. Leave it as Default (‘auto’) to follow your product’s existing inventory limits. Enter a custom number to restrict bulk purchases if needed.

These settings give you full control over how customers select quantities from collection and product listing pages.

Don’t forget to click Save after making any changes.
