# How do Try-Ons work in PehnAI?

Open **Try-Ons** in PehnAI to view shopper Try-On activity.

The page helps you review activity and filter Try-On sessions that may need attention.

## What Are Try-Ons?

Try-Ons in PehnAI let shoppers virtually see how a product may look on them before making a purchase.

When a shopper uses **Try It On**, PehnAI generates a virtual preview using the shopper’s uploaded photo and the selected product.

## How Try-Ons Work

A typical Try-On works in these steps:

* The shopper opens a product that has **Try It On** enabled.
* The shopper clicks the **Try It On** button.
* The shopper uploads or provides a photo as required.
* PehnAI processes the image with the selected product.
* The shopper receives a virtual Try-On preview.

## Filter and Search

Use the search field to find a product by:

* Product name
* Variant
* SKU
* Vendor
* Barcode
* Tag
* Type
* Handle

### Status Filter

Use the **All statuses** dropdown to filter Try-Ons by a specific status.

### Date Filter

Choose from:

* Today
* Last 7 days
* Last 30 days
* Last 90 days
* All time

The Try-On is waiting to start.

**Processing**

PehnAI is creating the preview.

**Completed**

The preview was created successfully.

**Failed**

The preview could not be completed.

## Reading the List

Each row shows:

#### Date & Time

Shows when the shopper started the Try-On session.

#### Product

Shows the product that the shopper selected for the Try-On.

#### Customer

Shows the shopper information associated with the Try-On session, when available.

#### Status

Shows the current status of the Try-On session.

Common statuses may include:

* **Completed** – The Try-On was successfully generated.
* **Failed** – The Try-On could not be completed.
* **Cancelled** – The Try-On session was cancelled before completion.

#### Processing Time

Shows how long PehnAI took to process the Try-On request.

#### Private Images

Shows whether private Try-On images are available for the session.

When images are available, click **View Images** to securely review them.

PehnAI lets you securely review the images used during a shopper's Try-On session.

To view the images:

1. Open **PehnAI → Try-Ons**.
2. Find the Try-On session you want to review.
3. In the **Private Images** column, click **View Images**.
4. Review the shopper's uploaded image and the generated Try-On image.

### Image Privacy

Try-On images are private and are not displayed on your storefront.

The images are automatically deleted after **24 hours**.

## Expired Try-On Images

After **24 hours**, the private images associated with a Try-On are automatically deleted.

When the images are deleted:

* The Try-On status changes to **Expired**.
* The private Try-On images are no longer available to view.
* The **View Images** option is no longer available.
* The Try-On activity remains listed on the **Try-Ons** page.

**Expired** means that the private images are no longer available. It does not mean that the Try-On session failed.

## Reviewing a Try-On

Use the **Try-Ons** list to review individual sessions.

You can check the product, shopper information, Try-On status, processing time, and available private images to understand what happened during the session.

## When a Try-On Fails

If a Try-On has a **Failed** status, the virtual preview was not successfully generated.

You can review the Try-On details and available information to identify the affected session and understand what happened.
