How do the Settings work in the Product Reviews Notification popups?



Product Reviews Notification Popup



Product Reviews Notification Popups showcase recent product reviews on your website, highlighting customer feedback. Even if your website currently lacks sales or orders, these popups create the appearance of an active and trustworthy store, adding valuable social proof.

By displaying the reviews, these popups effectively build trust in your products, encouraging visitors to take action—whether it's adding items to their cart or completing a purchase.



Status





To display the Product Reviews Notification popups on your website, ensure that the ToastiBar App status and the Product Reviews Notification status are enabled. This feature will automatically display notifications for reviews submitted on your products. Whenever a new review is posted, the popup will alert visitors in real-time, showcasing the feedback your products have received.

If you wish to disable these popups for specific devices, simply untick or uncheck the Desktop Enabled and/or Mobile Enabled checkboxes. This provides the flexibility to tailor the notifications to specific devices.

Always remember to click the Save button after making any changes to apply your settings effectively.

Template





In the ToastiBar App, you can fully customize the popup message for the Product Reviews Notification by editing the template. The app provides several variables to personalize the message, such as {{ first_name }} which displays the customer's first name, {{ location }} which shows the customer's location, {{ product }} which displays the product name, {{ product_with_link }} which shows the product name with a link to the product page, and {{ review_count }} which shows the number of stars the product has received.

You can also add emojis to the message as needed (optional), and apply filters to the variables if desired (optional). If at any point you wish to reset the message to its default state, simply click the Reset button.

Make sure to click the Save button after making any changes to ensure your customizations are applied successfully.

View All Templates:





The View All Templates button will display a list of the templates added for different countries and languages (available only for Shopify). In this section, you can view the Country/Language name, the Template associated with it, and the available Action options. Under the Action column, you have the option to edit or delete a template.

Additionally, by clicking on the Add New Template button, you can create and add a new template for a specific country or language (available only for Shopify). This allows you to further customize the app’s messaging to match the language preferences of your customers across different regions.

Add New Template:





Whenever you want to use a country/language-specific readymade template, you can easily add it by clicking the Add New Template button.



Other Settings





In the Product Reviews Notification Popups, the Other Settings allow you to customize the behavior of the review message, rating thresold, and star colors according to your preferences.

Show Written Review: By enabling this option, the entire review and rating will be displayed in the popup. If the option is disabled, the popup will only show the star rating without the text of the review.
Show Review on Hover: When this option is selected, the full review and rating will appear in the popup when a user hovers over the popup. By default, only the star rating is visible until the user hovers.
Rating [For Wix Only]: In this section, you can set the minimum rating threshold to display. By default, the app shows only reviews with a 5-star rating.
Stars Color: Customize the color of the stars to fit your design by choosing the desired color.

After making any adjustments, be sure to click the Save button to apply the changes.
