How do the Product Visitors Notification popups work in the ToastiBar app?



Product Visitors Notification Popup



Product Visitors Notification Popups display the total number of visitors who have viewed a specific product when someone lands on its page. Even if your website has no ongoing sales, orders, or cart activity, these popups help create the impression of a busy and popular store, adding essential social proof.

These popups are an excellent way to build trust by showing visitors they’re not alone in exploring your products. By enhancing your store’s credibility, Product Visitors Notification Popups instill confidence in your guests, encouraging them to make a purchase without hesitation.



Status





To display the Product Visitors Notification popups on your website, ensure both the ToastiBar App status and the Product Visitors Notification status are enabled. This will allow the notification to show the number of visitors who have viewed a specific product on your website.

If you wish to disable these popups for specific devices, simply untick or uncheck the Desktop Enabled and/or Mobile Enabled checkboxes. This provides the flexibility to tailor the notifications to specific devices.

Always remember to click the Save button after making any changes to apply your settings effectively.

Template





In the ToastiBar App, you can fully customize the popup message for the Product Visitors Notification by editing the template. The app offers variable to help you personalize the message. The {{ count }} variable represents the number of visitors who have recently viewed your product on the website.

You can also add emojis to the message as needed (optional). If at any point you wish to reset the message to its default state, simply click the Reset button.

Make sure to click the Save button after making any changes to ensure your customizations are applied successfully.

View All Templates





The View All Templates button will display a list of the templates added for different countries and languages (available only for Shopify). In this section, you can view the Country/Language name, the Template associated with it, and the available Action options. Under the Action column, you have the option to edit or delete a template.

Additionally, by clicking on the Add New Template button, you can create and add a new template for a specific country or language (available only for Shopify). This allows you to further customize the app’s messaging to match the language preferences of your customers across different regions.

Add New Template





Whenever you want to use a country/language-specific readymade template, you can easily add it by clicking the Add New Template button.



After clicking the button, the app will allow you to select a country/language (available only for Shopify) from the list. Simply find and select the desired country or language. Once selected, the app will display the readymade template for that specific country/language. You can modify the template as needed, or if you’re satisfied with the default template, you can directly add it by clicking the Save button. Once saved, the template will be added to your list, and you’ll be able to view all the templates you've added in the View All Templates section.

Other Settings





In the Product Visitors Notification Popups, the Other Settings allow you to customize the behavior of the popup, image display style, and icon colors according to your preferences.

Hide if the number of visitors is less than: You can set a specific number here. Once the total number of visitors drops below that number, the Product Visitors Notification popups will automatically be hidden.

Image Display Style: In this option, you can choose whether to display the product image or an icon in the popup.

If you select Display Product Image, the app will automatically show the product image in the Product Visitors Notification popups.
Icon color: If you prefer to display a colorful icon, select the “Display Icon” option. You can also customize the icon’s color.

After making any adjustments, be sure to click the Save button to apply the changes.
