How do the Order Summary Notification popups work in the ToastiBar app?

Order Summary Notification Popup

Order Summary Notification Popups display a concise summary of recent orders placed on your website within a specific time frame. These popups highlight your store’s activity, creating the impression of a vibrant and trustworthy online environment while adding a valuable layer of social proof.

By showcasing recent order activity, these popups effectively build customer trust and inspire confidence in purchasing your products. They encourage visitors to take action, such as adding items to their cart or completing a purchase, while boosting your website’s overall credibility and reassuring guests about their buying decisions.

Status

To display the Order Summary Notification popups on your website, ensure that the ToastiBar App status and the Order Summary Notification status are enabled. This feature allows visitors and customers to see order summary popups, enhancing transparency and engagement.

If you wish to disable these popups for specific devices, simply untick or uncheck the Desktop Enabled and/or Mobile Enabled checkboxes. This provides the flexibility to tailor the notifications to specific devices.

Always remember to click the Save button after making any changes to apply your settings effectively.

Template

In the ToastiBar App, you can fully customize the popup message for the Order Summary Notification by editing the template. The app provides several variables to personalize the message, such as {{ visitor_count }} variable shows the number of visitors who had placed orders on the website, {{ order_count }} variable shows the number of orders placed by the visitors on the website, {{ time_ago }} variable shows the time period for reviewing the past orders.

You can also add emojis to the message as needed (optional). Additionally, you can set the Bold effect, Italic effect, Underline effect, and Strikethrough effect to normal text as well as the variables. If at any point you wish to reset the message to its default state, simply click the Reset button.

Make sure to click the Save button after making any changes to ensure your customizations are applied successfully.

This is a completely optional setting that allows you to change the language of the popup to suit your preferences. You can customize the popup in any language of your choice, which is especially useful for merchants with a global customer base.

There are two key variables you can use: {{ unit }} and {{ duration }}. The {{ unit }} variable represents the time period for reviewing the past orders in digits and {{ duration }} is for the time for reviewing the past orders. The {{ duration }} variable can display in different time units such as Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds. For example, "Days" will show how many days back orders you want to consider, "Hours" indicates how many hours ago, "Minutes" shows how many minutes ago, and "Seconds" displays how many seconds back orders you want to consider. These time-related terms can be customized in your preferred language whenever needed.

View All Templates

The View All Templates button will display a list of the templates added for different countries and languages (available only for Shopify). In this section, you can view the Country/Language name, the Template associated with it, and the available Action options. Under the Action column, you have the option to edit or delete a template.

Additionally, by clicking on the Add New Template button, you can create and add a new template for a specific country or language (available only for Shopify). This allows you to further customize the app’s messaging to match the language preferences of your customers across different regions.

Add New Template

Whenever you want to use a country/language-specific readymade template, you can easily add it by clicking the Add New Template button.

After clicking the button, the app will allow you to select a country/language (available only for Shopify) from the list. Simply find and select the desired country or language. You can modify the template as needed, or if you’re satisfied with the default template, you can directly add it by clicking the Save button.
