# How do Product Attributes work in Feedomix?

Product Attributes lets you manage additional product information used for Google Merchant Center feeds.

You can configure attributes for individual products or manage supported attributes across selected products. This helps keep product information organized before it is included in the feed.

## Search Products

Search active products using available product information such as:

* Product name
* Variant
* SKU
* Product ID

Use search to quickly find the products you want to review or configure.

## Filter Products

Use available filters to find products based on their attribute configuration status.

Possible statuses include:

* Configured
* Not Configured

Filters help you identify products that already have attributes configured or still require configuration.

## Product Table

The Product Attributes table can display:

* Product
* Product image
* Variant
* SKU
* Google Product Category
* Configuration
* Action

Configuration can show:

* Configured
* Not Configured

Click **View Attributes** to open the individual product configuration.

## Product Selection

You can select:

* Individual products
* Visible products
* All products

You can also unselect selected products.

Product selection is used when performing actions such as **Bulk Edit** or **Auto Map**.

## Show All Selected

The **Show All Selected** toggle displays only currently selected products.

### Enabled

Only selected products are shown.

### Disabled

The normal product list is displayed.

This option makes it easier to review the products selected for bulk actions.

## Bulk Edit

Bulk Edit allows supported Google attributes to be updated across multiple selected products.

Supported actions include:

* Google Product Category
* Age Group
* Gender
* Color
* Material
* Condition
* Pattern
* Size
* Size Type
* Size System
* Energy Efficiency Class
* Minimum Energy Efficiency Class
* Maximum Energy Efficiency Class
* MPN
* Custom Label 0
* Custom Label 1
* Custom Label 3
* Custom Label 4

Bulk editing applies only to the selected products.

### How to Use Bulk Edit

1. Select the required products.
2. Choose the attributes you want to update.
3. Enter or select the required values.
4. Apply the changes.
5. Review the updated product attributes.

## Auto Map

**Auto Map** retrieves supported Google attribute values from available Shopify Google metafields.

Auto Mapping creates a review draft before applying the changes, allowing you to check the proposed changes first.

### Auto Map Process

1. Select the required products.
2. Select Shopify Google metafields as the source.
3. Choose how existing values should be handled.
4. Start Auto Map.
5. Wait for processing.
6. Review the proposed mappings.
7. Apply or discard the mappings.

### Fill Empty Attributes Only

Adds mapped values only when the Feedomix attribute is empty.

Existing Feedomix values are preserved.

### Replace Existing Values

Allows mapped values to replace corresponding existing values.

Use this option when you want the mapped Shopify Google metafield values to update existing Feedomix values.

## Review Mappings

The review screen can display:

* Attribute
* Current Value
* Metafield Value
* Proposed Action

Possible results include:

* Will be added
* Will replace
* No applicable change

Review the proposed mappings before applying them.

Click **Apply** to save the reviewed mappings.

Click **Discard** to remove the draft without changing existing values.

## How to Manage Product Attributes

1. Open **Product Attributes**.
2. Search or filter the required products.
3. Select the products you want to manage.
4. Review their current attribute configuration.
5. Use **Bulk Edit** for supported attributes across multiple products.
6. Use **Auto Map** when you want to retrieve values from Shopify Google metafields.
7. Review the proposed mappings.
8. Apply the required changes.
